Mrs. Ralph P. Doll, 77, a resident of Lindsey, died late Thursday in the home of a son, Chauncey Verne Doll, of Detroit. Mr. & Mrs. Doll had resided near Girton for many years, moving to Lindsey, OH, several years ago.
In ill health for several months, Mrs. Doll went to Detroit 10-days ago to receive medical treatment. She was admitted to Ford Hospital for several days but afterward was removed to the son's home. The body was returned to Lindsey Friday by the C. B. Hess Mortuary, Lindsey, and funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Lindsey Evangelical Church, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Sager. Burial will be in the Smith Cemetery.
Surviving are the husband; two sons, Arthur C. and Chauncey Verne of Detroit, and two daughters; Mrs. Homer (Bess) Nycum of Fostoria and Mrs. Lloyd (Edna) Lippert of Bradner; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The former Miss Martha Bower, she was born in Coshocton county, Feb. 2, 1860, a daughter of John and Susan Bower but came to Sandusky county at the age of six with her parents. She married Mr. Doll December 23, 1880. They were the parents of five children. One son died in infancy.
