ADAMS

Kenneth Leroy Adams,42, of 678 First St., Wood River, died Sunday morning following an illness of several years. He was a diabetic and was pronounced dead on arrival at Wood River Hospital at 11:25 a.m.

A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William F. Adams, he was born July 25, 1925 in Wood River.

Before his retirement because of ill health Mr. Adams worked as an attendant at a Service station.

He was a member of St. Bernard's Parish in Wood River.

Survivors are a son, Dennis Lynn, 15, a daughter Pamela, 12; three brothers, William N., Rosewood Heights; James, Toledo, Ohio; and Shirley, Dyer, Ind., a half brother John Brandenberger, Detroit, Mich. His father died in 1927, and his mother in 1966. He also was preceded in death by a sister.

Visitation at Smith Funeral Home, Wood River, will be after 7 p.m. today.

Time of funeral is pending.

ADAMS INTERMENT IN ST. PATRICK'S

Following services Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Smith Funeral Home, Wood River, the body of Kenneth L. Adams of Wood River was taken to St. Patrick's Cemetery for burial.

The Rev. Father John Brahler of St. Bernard's Church, Wood River, officiated.

Pallbearers were William Adams, John Hoormann, Milo F. Nieft, Orville Sandbach, Marion Garrigus and Loren Thorp.
