Olga L. Alaniz passed away on Friday, December 2, 2016 at the age of 87.
She was born on August 17, 1929 to Jesus and Maria Rita Longoria. As a longtime resident of Pasadena and Pearland, Texas she touched many lives.
Olga was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Helen Catholic Church. She never met a stranger and always had a smile on her face. Her Catholic belief and the love of her family ran very deep.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Pedro S. Alaniz; her siblings, Gloria McCarver, Ray Longoria and Estefana Cortez; her children, Rene J. Alaniz (Denise), Norma L. Davidson (John) and Dennis D. Alaniz (Lila); 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 5, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 6:30 PM at South Park Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 10:00 AM at South Park Funeral Home.
