Jan Edith Latta, age 92, of Navarre, died Sunday April 30, 2006 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. She was born June 1, 1913, in Canton, OH, to the late David and Effie (Schaub) Latta. She was a life resident of the Stark County area and a graduate of Mt. Marie High School.
She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Elton, Zelvon and Donald Latta,
Survived by one brother, Vernon Latta of Ft. Myers Beach, FL; two nephews, David and Donald Latta; one niece, Betty Kitchen; four* great-nieces, Krystal Morrow, Victoria Hummel, Sara Gress and Annie Latta; four** great-great nieces and nephews; one great-great-great niece.
Funeral services will be Wednesday May 3, 2006 at 1:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. with Terry Bailey officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services on Wednesday 12-1 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions to the Aultman Hospital Health Foundation.
