Bradley Jones, 84, of Mason City, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016, at Hospice of North Iowa.

Their marriage reception was in her parents home with her youngest teenage brother in attendance.

In years past when Oral Roberts was running a revival in Cedar Rapids, Iowa , in the 1950s Bud was a taxi drive. He picked up an elderly woman at the airport and took her to see Oral Roberts. Bud said that after he delivered her he had to air out the cab as she had an odor he could only describe as decay.
When he returned her to the airport it amazed him that the odor was no longer present.
Spring of 1953 he was forced to fight for his life in hand to hand combat at the battle of Pork Chop Hill in Korea. He sustained a head wound by being stuck with an enemy's rifle butt. A metal plate was permanently attached to his skull. He fathered one child in the 1950's and four more in the early 1960's.
