Donna was known for her smile, up-beat personality, and her love for the Lord, and was a longtime member of Praise Assembly of God. She worked as a hydraulic mechanic at U.S. Steel for 16 years.
Preceded in death by parents, Wayne Edwin and Lola Ruth Canfield; husband Mitch Mitchell; and brother Ronnie Canfield.
Survived by children, James (Patricia) Johnson, Franklin (Carol) Mitchell; step-children, Phyllis Kimmel, John (Brenda) Mitchell, Perry (Janet) Mitchell; granddaughters, Amanda and Samantha; sister Connie Register and brother Chris (Jema) Canfield.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established with American Diabetes Association, 608 W. Douglas Ave. #100, Wichita, KS 67203.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Graceland Cemetery of Valpariso.
