Lydia Shockley passed from this life on Sunday, November 27th, 2016 at the age of 88. Lydia was born May 10th, 1928 to Grover and Callie (Greemore) Norris in Sardis, Oklahoma. Lydia enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, fishing and hunting. She loved having her family and grandchildren over spending time with them. Lydia worked as a mail carrier for about 30 years. Lydia is preceded in death by her husband Harvey Shockley; two daughters Dena Pennington, Dona Bradway; one grandson James Wesley Bradway; five sisters Connie, Sarah, Icie, Nancy and Eddie; six brothers Bill, Doyle, Sam, Dud, Pete and Jim. Services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the Sardis Community Center with Gary Fuller officiating. Interment will follow at the Sardis Cemetery.
