Dian Brooks Gornall,74, of Oklahoma City passed from this life on November 29, 2016. Service have been entrusted to the care of Guardian West Funeral Home and a service celebrating Dian's life will be held at Guardian West Funeral Home at 10am on Saturday, December 10th.

Dian was born on New Year 's Day in 1942 in OKC to Cleopha Bevely Brooks and Alma Odel (Fagan) Brooks. She grew up in south OKC and attended Capitol Hill High School and Southeast High School. She married Ronald Carl Gornall in March of 1965, but they later divorced following many years together. She worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Little in OKC for 42 years before a stroke ended her career in 2006. Dian enjoyed spending her last few years living at South Pointe Care Center in Oklahoma City where she made many wonderful friends.

Dian was a talented woman who loved to listen to music and dance. She danced in many different contests and competitions and won several awards. She also enjoyed playing the drums and spending time with her pets. Dian was a loving sister, a caring aunt, and a trusted friend and she will certainly be missed by all those whose life she touched.

Dian is preceded in death by her parents Cleopha and Alma Brooks; four siblings: Cliffadell Brooks, Peggy Percival, Billy Brooks, and Ray Brooks. She is survived by three siblings: Darrell Brooks, Barbara Little, and her twin brother David Brooks.
