Hampton, SC - Addie Lee Terry Freeman Rushing, 94, died October 7, 2006.
Survivors: sons, William H. Freeman Jr. and John E. Freeman; daughters, Sara Ann F. DeLoach, Barbara F. Swofford and Henrietta T. Terry.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Graveside: 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Johnson-St. Paul Cemetery.

RUSHING, Addie HAMPTON, SC - Mrs. Addie Lee Terry Freeman Rushing, 94, of Hampton died Saturday evening, October 7, 2006 in the Hampton Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. Born September 28, 1912 in Hampton, she was the daughter of the late Newton W. Terry, Sr. and Emma Rivers Terry. She was a seamstress at Parker Brother's Department Store in Hampton and was also a co-owner of the Addarena Shop in Hampton. Mrs. Rushing was the oldest member of the St. Paul Primitive Baptist Church near Hampton and was a wonderful Harmonica player. She is survived by two sons: William H. Freeman, Jr. of Hampton and John E. Freeman of Walterboro; three daughters: Sara Ann F. DeLoach, Barbara F. Swofford and Henrietta T. Terry, all of Hampton; one brother: Willie M. Terry of Hampton; two sisters: Emily Terry Brunson of Hampton and Myra Terry Harvey of Estill. There are 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 8 great- great grandchildren. She was first married to the late W. H. Bill Freeman, Sr. and then to the late Robert F. Rushing. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 AM in the Johnson-St. Paul Cemetery near Hampton, conducted by Elder Robert Dobson and Elder Terrell Harvey. Friends may call at PEEPLES-RHODEN FUNERAL HOME, 300 Mulberry St., Hampton, SC 29924 on Monday evening from 6 until 8 PM and prior to services on Tuesday.
