Granville Orman Robinson passed away Monday, November 28, 2016 in Oklahoma City. He was 82. He was born Tuesday, June 26, 1934 in Foster to Henry Colin and Lilly Belle (Dennis) Robinson.

His grade school years where at Mountain View and he graduated from Pernell High School, with some college classes to follow. Granville married Marjorie Jane Ledbetter in Ardmore in 1952, she preceded him in death. He later married Iris June White in Albuquerque, she also preceded him in death. Granville worked in road construction for more than 28 years, he was the concrete superintendent and he also farmed for more than 28 years as well. He worked and lived in New Mexico for many years before returning back to the Marlow area.

On April 20, 2004 he married Joyce L. (White) Barrington in Las Vegas, NV. Granville loved the outdoors, being around the lake and going camping. He enjoyed square dancing and a good visit with family and friends. Granville was very active in the Marlow Senior Citizens and in his Church, Eastside Baptist Church where served in the Nursing Home Ministry Group. He will be remembered well and will be missed dearly by all who loved him so much.

Survivors include, wife, Joyce Barrington of the home, Daughter, Sheila Jane Robinson of Duncan, Daughter, Nancy Rascon of Austin, TX, Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, Brothers, Orville Robinson and wife Judy of Marlow and Joe Robinson of Duncan, Sisters, Leona Graham of NC, Betty Carroll of Duncan, Erma Potts of Bray, Linda Marshall of Oklahoma City, Sharon Eaves of Marlow and Kathy Lyday of Duncan
Numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Howard and a sister, Lorita Robinson.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 1, 2016, at the Eastside Baptist Church, with Rev. David Standifer officiating and Bill Brewer assisting. Burial will be in the Foster Cemetery.
