OBITUARY: PEARL HANSON

Miss Pearlie Hanson, the beloved daughter of Peter T. and Elizabeth Irvine Hanson, departed this life Wednesday, Nov. 16, 1904. She leaves an aged father, four brothers and fives sisters and a host of friends to mourn her loss. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Branstetter in the Christian Church at New Harmony, where she was laid to rest.

Everything was done that medical aid and loving hands could do.

the father and children wish to express their thanks to one and all that were so good and kind during her sickness.

Note: Pearl Hanson was engaged to James Madison McBride at the time of her death. She was at a dance at the New Harmony Church and went outside to catch some air. She was perspiring and it was a cool evening. It is said she caught pneumonia that night.
