Graveside services for Sarah "Pearl" Hines, 93, Shreveport, La., formerly of Ben Wheeler, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at the Union Chapel Cemetery in Van with John Bolden officiating and arrangements under direction of Hilliard Funeral Home of Van.
Mrs. Hines died Friday in Shreveport.
She was born Feb. 9, 1901, in Henryetta, Okla., to Dora Beggs Mitchell and Morgan Stewart Mitchell. She was a housewife and a member of the Church of Christ.
Mrs. Hines was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Floyd Hines.
Survivors include one son, Ronald Mitchell, Shreveport, La.; one daughter, Ada Lou Stinson, Shreveport, La.; one sister, Hazel Boone, Holly Spring, Miss.; four grandchildren.
Family will receive friends 10 a.m. -2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
