Passed away peacefully on Monday November 28, 2016 at Listowel Memorial Hospital. Clara resided at R.R. # 1 Newton and was born 88 years ago in Mornington Township. She was the daughter of the late Gideon & Catherine (Schwartz) Kuepfer.
Beloved wife of the late William Carter who predeceased her June 23, 1998. Loving mother of Mary Carter, Harold and Cheryl Carter all of R.R. # 1 Newton, Alvin and Kara Carter of R.R. # 1 Milverton. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Janel and Rodney Hiemstra, Tracy and Tyler Andrews, Jeremy and Katie Carter, Amanda and Shawn Cleland, Dana Carter and Barry Williams and great-grandchildren Noah, Jensyn, Mylah, Kennedy, Carter and Kendall. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Verna & Jonas Schmidt of Newton, Kenneth and Esther Kuepfer, Catherine Carter, LeRoy Carter all of R.R. # 1 Newton. Clara was predeceased by her daughter Edith, son Mervin, grandson Gregory, sister Catherine in infancy, brothers-in-law Joe Carter, Emanuel and Laura Carter, sisters-in-law Ruth and Ephriam Steckly and Clara Carter.
Clara was a member of Morningview Amish Mennonite Church.
Interment in the church cemetery.
