Linda was born June 4, 1952 in Lincoln, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Donna Belle (Petro) Vannoy. She married Earl Smith and he preceded her in death. She later married David Sherrer on July 5, 1983.
Survivors include her husband; children, Jodi Miller, Shane (Tamie) Smith, Eric Smith and Kelsey (CJ) Skelton; step children, Stacey (RD) Shull, Tonia Lowe and Tamira Ryan; 18 grandchildren; one great granddaughter and her brother, Billy Vannoy.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and her son, Derek Sherrer.
She was employed at the bottle factory in Lincoln for 31 years and was a past employee of the Woodlawn Café.
