Graveside services for Elmer E. Loyall Sr. of El Reno will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8 at the El Reno Cemetery with Dr. Richard Williams, pastor of Gospel Baptist Church in Oklahoma City officiating. Services are under direction of Wilson Funeral Home.

Elmer died Jan. 4, 2007, at his home. He was born May 10, 1938, in Union City to Roy and Cealy (Alger) Loyall. He was a lifetime resident of Canadian County. In 1958 he began working for the El Reno Police Department as a beat officer. Two years later he began working for the Yukon Police Department as a patrolman, retiring in 1978 as major of detectives. Upon retirement, he began Loyall Security and also worked for several attorneys across the state as a process server. Elmer was a member of the Moose Lodge in Midwest City for many years. He loved to play pool and gamble. Elmer married Christine M. Loyall on Sept. 29, 1995, in Las Vegas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Lucy Suddock; and a great-granddaughter, Jessica Pantoja.

Elmer is survived by his wife, Christine of the home; his children, Donna and Bob Sealy, Darla Stapp, Buddy and Olivia Loyall and Tony and Jamie Loyall, all of El Reno; stepchildren, Shawn Smith and Stephanie Smith, both of Guthrie, Brian Hawkins, Lisa Hawkins and Todd Kaiser, all of Auburn, Wash.; brothers, Alfred Loyall and wife, Nadine, and Melfred Loyall and wife, Wanda, all of El Reno; sister, Vera Mae Welliver and husband, Harold of El Reno; his father and mother-in-law, Jim and Charlotte Huffman of Renton, Wash., his brother-in-laws, John Huffman and wife, Susan, and Jerry Huffman and wife, Linda, all of Renton, Wash.; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
