Alvin Burtron Jr., 69, of Tacoma, died Tuesday.
Mr. Burtron, a retired Tacoma Transit driver, was born in Ambia, Ind., and moved to Tacoma 32 years ago. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Among survivors are his wife, Betty; two sons, Tim and Nathan, Both of Tacoma; and a sister, Mary Jane Matthews of Rome City, Ind.

Alivn Burtron Jr. is the son of Alvin & Hazel Suits Burtron.
He first meet in California Leona Anna Wayrynen they had a daughter Katrine Louise Burtron 8-7-1949 in Booth Memorial Hospital in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California. On her birth record it states Alvin was a supervisor for a detective agency. It also states he was born in Frankfort, Clinton County, Indiana. Mother Leona resided at this time 3658 Sepulveda, West Los Angeles County, California.
Katrine was not raised by her father Alvin just her mother. Leona never married and she only had one child. Katrine first saw a photo of her father back in 2002. Katrine's mother passed in 2005 and Katrine Burtron Tassano in January 2006.
