FENTON, Eric Robert - 42, Toronto, formerly of Goshen, Guysborough Co., and Antigonish, passed away suddenly on June 21, 2008, in Toronto. Born in Antigonish, he was a son of Alice (Feltmate) Fenton-Strickland, Lethbridge, Alta., and the late Charles Fenton. Eric was a very artistic person. He drew beautiful portraits, wrote poetry and had a special love for dolphins. He was a wonderful and inspiring person to all he met and was a great uncle to his nieces and nephews. Besides his mother, he is survived by his stepfather, Austin Strickland; brothers, Arthur (Lynn), Plymouth; Johnny (Peggy), Stavely, Alta.; sisters, Linda (Donnie MacDonald), Dalemead, Alta.; Julie, Antigonish; Donna (Ashley Myers), Country Harbour; nephews, nieces and great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Charles Douglas Fenton; grandparents, Nathaniel and Mary Jane Feltmate, James and Hilda Fenton. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in Argyle Cemetery, Guysborough County, at a later date.
