She was a member of Oneonta Second Baptist Church and was a devoted Pastor's wife for more than 49 years.
Mrs. Alldredge was a sweet and loving woman who loved to cook and always made Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays so special.
She was funny and family get-togethers were always filled with laughter.
From the unreal quantity of food on Thanksgiving to the funny poems than accompanied her gag gifts at Christmas, she always made times together as family fun.
It is only fitting on this day that she loved to be with family, she has gone on to give thanks to our Lord and beloved family who have gone on before her.
She is preceded in death by parents, Turner and Roxie Young Dover; husband of 62 years, Bro. Tunis Alldredge; grandson, Bradley Adam Bynum; sisters, Bessie Jack Woods, Gwenelle Griggs and Merle Flemming; and brother, John Dover.
She is survived by daughters, Linda Bynum (Glen) of Oneonta and Donna Brown (Byron) of Oneonta; sons, Garry Alldredge (Jan) of Douglasville, GA and Phil Alldredge (Patty) of Floey Beach, SC; grandchildren, Michelle Mitchell (Earl), Brian Bynum, Amy Manley (James), Nicole Brown, Mallory Brown, Brandon Brown, Kim Goss (Joey), Kit Alldredge, Zachary Alldredge, Angie Muenster (Keith) and Terri Cantrell (Chuck) and several great grandchildren.
Bro. Ennis Stone, Bro. Earl Mitchell and Bro. Glenn Bynum will officiate funeral services on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 11AM from Valley Chapel Funeral Home with burial following at Liberty Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Alldredge will lie in state at Valley Chapel Funeral Home on Monday, from 9:30AM until service time.
