Ramona Aguilar Hernandez, 81, of Gering, Nebraska, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Ramona was born in Scottsbluff on September 25, 1935 to Joe and Julia (Perez) Aguilar.

Ramona attended school and graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1955. She married Cirilo Hernandez on September 14, 1962 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. To this union two daughters Connie and Monica were born.

Ramona worked at St. Mary's Hospital as a ward clerk, then Gentry Clark Medical Center in the billing department. She later worked and retired from Regional West Medical Center in the Business Office.

She is survived by: her loving husband, Cirilo; daughter Connie (Glenn) Lucius and Monica (Denis) Graham; grandchildren Michael (Marcie) Hernandez, Christina Morris, Antonia (Travis) Ybarra, Jessica (Jeremy) Graham and David (Katelin) Graham; and nine great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, November 28, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Scottsbluff. Inurnment at Sunset Memorial Park in Scottsbluff.
