Paula Mae (Anderson) Francis, daughter of Raymond and Eva Anderson passed away, supported by friends and family at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Ma on Monday, May 30, 2011.

Paula was born in Lawrence on February 28, 1947. Her family moved to Methuen in 1958 where she went on to graduate from Tenney High School. After high school, she worked for Kenney and Co. in Lawrence as a bookkeeper.

On August 13, 1972 Paula married Bruce Francis of Elba, Nebraska. The couple lived in Methuen and had three children. Kevin Francis and his wife Maria of Danville, NH, Kristen Van den Broek and her husband Alex of Fremont, NH and Todd Francis of Hampstead, NH.

As her children grew, Paula began working at Berkeley Retirement Home in Lawrence in 1989 as activities director. She went on to retire in November of 2009 after 20 years of dedicated service.

Paula was a loving and dedicated wife and mother and will be dearly missed by all.
