DR. NIELSON, 67, DIES
Services for Dr. Hans Penney Nielson, 67, who died Monday morning at his home, 815½ Locust st., will be at the E. Carl White Funeral home, 2505 Grand ave., at 3 p. m. today. Burial will be in the war veterans' circle at Glendale cemetery.

Dr. Nielson had been ill since Labor day of a heart ailment.

Born in St. Joseph, Mo.
A native of St. Joseph, Mo., Dr. Nielson was graduated as a oculist (eye doctor) from Ensworth Medical college there in 1900.

He worked as an nurse attendant at the Home for the Feeble-minded at Glenwood, la in 1929.

In D. M. 11 years.
Dr. Nielson had not practiced since coming to Des Moines about 11 years ago. Until his illness, he had been field representative of the state tax commission (auditor).

He is survived by his wife, Luella. Dr. Nielson was a cousin of J. C. Penney, founder of the stores of that name.
