John Huffman married Tabitha Brown on Nov. 26, 1798 in Mercer County, Kentucky.
John and his family was living in Putnam County, Indiana by 1830 (Census doesn't list which Township.
He purchased land in Putnam County, Indiana on Jan. 12, 1835 in Monroe Township.

John Huffman should be buried here next to his wife. He died 4 months after she did.
He was the son of, Henry Huffman and Milly Ship

*Note* I visited the cemetery on 12/27/2018 and there was no sign of a tombstone marking John's grave. There does seem to be unmarked graves located on both sides of his wife, Tabitha. It's very possible that one of these unamrked graves belong to John. It is also possible that his tombstone has fallen over and been covered up by many decades of blowing dirts and vegitation growth. I will return this summer with dowsing rods to try and locate a tombstone.

I also visted the Putnam County Publuic Library. Their database had so listing for his burial. They also informed me that their information came from volunteers that walked the cemetery and copied the tombstones.
