She was married to Walter Frank White (1909-1993). They were the parents of two daughters: Mrs. Elizabeth (Harry M.) Riggins and Mrs. Ann (Thomas L.) Wood, both of Memphis. The family attended Galloway United Methodist Church. Mrs. White was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Annie Laura died of cirrhosis of the liver, but never drank alcohol. She was my great-aunt.
