MARTHA BLOHM
Martha Marie, eldest daughter of George and Anna Blohm was born April 26, 1889. She was baptized in the Lutheran Church, but in later years joined the Presbyterian Church, of which she was a member until death.

She attended the Dexter public schools from which she graduated in 1906. After graduation she started working in her father's meat and grocery store and at her death had completed more than 63 years of serving the public.

She was a 50 year member of the Eastern Star.

On Saturday, October 25th she fell in the kitchen of her home breaking her left thigh, which with other complications, caused her death at the Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.

She is survived by her two sisters, Mrs. Ira (Hannah) Cox, Mrs. Kenneth (Ruby) Neal and her brothers, Carl, Edwin, Walter and Frank.

Burial was in the family plot at Dexter.
