Granville married Mary Carter (1829-1894) on 13 Jan 1848 in Bartholomew County, Indiana. Granville and Mary were the parents of two known children, namely:
1. Cassius Marion Rominger (1851-1907)
2. Alice Carrie Rominger (1855-1859)

OBIT:
Granville T. Rominger, of Hope, died yesterday at one o'clock a.m., after a brief illness and was buried at three o'clock p.m., it being thought that on account of the excessive heat, the body could not be longer kept. The cause of death was heart disease.
Mr. Rominger was about fifty years of age, and has been long identified with the business interests of Hope, having been engaged in merchandising for several years past. He was an excellent citizen and will be greatly missed form the community.
