(Jan. 1871 Wisconsin, father New York, mother Indiana) - married 10 years, and she had borne 4 children, 3 of whom are still living and present in the household: Nellie L. (May 1891 FL), Earl (July 1894 FL), & Fred J. (Mar 1900 GA) - also a Black servant, Minnie L. JONES (Dec 1883 GA, single).

"DEATH OF AN INFANT: Captain and Mrs. MAGRUDER Suffer a Sad Loss. // At seven o'clock yesterday morning, Edward Lee, the fifteen months old son of Captain and Mrs. E. l. MAGRUDER, died, after an illness of four days of cholera infantum. The heart-broken mother and father have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad bereavement. // The funeral occurs at 10 o'clock today from the residence of Mrs. GIBSON at No. 1229 Broad street.
