Ralph Lincoln Black, 75, of English Road died January 16, 1998, at his home. He was born September 30, 1922, in Guilford County, a son of William Lindsay and Emma Lambeth Black. He had lived all his life in High Point and was a retired self-employed painter. On February 14, 1948, he married Edith Hemric, who died in 1980.
Also surviving are one son, Terry Wayne Black of Archdale, one grandson, Jeffrey Wayne Black of Archale; two sisters, Dorothy Louise Boling and Helen Watkins, both of Greensboro and two brothers, Gilbert Black of Thomasville and Carson Black of High Point.
Funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Cumby Funeral Home Chapel in Archdale by Rev. C.W. Moss. Burial will be in Floral Garden Park Cemetery.
