Marcelle Blacksher DeLoach, 91, of Judsonia, formerly of El Dorado, passed away on Monday, Nov. 14, 2016 at the Oakdale Nursing Facility in Judsonia.

Marcelle was born on Aug. 14, 1925 in Nacogdoches County, Texas to the late Myrtle Bass Blacksher and David Herbert Blacksher.

She was a self employed hairdresser for many years in the El Dorado area, until her retirement. After retirement, she enjoyed taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lannie DeLoach; three sons, John Thomas DeLoach, William Lee DeLoach and James Lannie DeLoach; infant daughter, Bobbie Jean DeLoach; and five brothers.

Those left to cherish her memory include one brother, Jim Tom Blacksher; six grandchildren, JoAnna Lee DeLoach, Shari Ann Wells and her husband, Jeffrey, Jennifer Lynn Segars, Teri Christian Burkett and her husband, Ryan, Traci Lynn Davis and her husband, Jeff, and William Lannie DeLoach; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18, at Bailey Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, at Jolley Cemetery with Bro. Tracy Roden officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
