Alma Abraham July 19, 1926 - Nov. 10, 2009 Passed peacefully surrounded by her daughter, Sharon, son-in-law Jack Porter, and granddaughters, Nicole and Debra Hubbard. Alma, known as Amy was born in San Francisco on July 19th 1926. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Porter, and her two granddaughters, her so- loved sister Mildred Johns and many loving nieces and nephews. Amy was such a loving mother to her two daughters, Sharon and Debbie. She was preceded in death by her daughter Debbie, who died way too young. She owned and ran Amy's Place of Fashion for many years, then went into home care for the elderly. She was a 50-year member in the Order of the Eastern Star. She inspired all with her contagious smile, sense of humor and eloquence. If you had the pleasure of meeting "Gags or Gaga" you were blessed. She will be so sadly missed. Friends may call after 10:00 am on Saturday and are invited to attend the Funeral Service at 11:30 am at DUGGAN'S FUNERAL SERVICE, 3434 17th Street near Valencia, Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
