Denny Wall was born on February 7, 1944 in Denver, Colorado. He spent his younger years on ranches near Limon, Colorado and Deer Trail, Colorado, before his family moved to Montana. Denny graduated from Custer County High School in Miles City in 1963. While gaining recognition as a bull rider, saddle bronc rider, and bareback rider, he attended Casper College and the University of Wyoming before going on to qualify for the National Finals Rodeo in bull riding in 1965, 1966, 1967 & 1968. One of his proudest moments was winning Cheyenne Frontier Days in 1966.

He married Reanee on December 19, 1965 and they had two children. Denny was an excellent horseman and took great pride in riding "a good one". He enjoyed team roping and passed this passion on to his children and grandchildren.

Denny worked on many ranches in eastern Colorado, and spent his last 23 years working on the D4 Cattle Company Ranch near Arlington, CO before retiring to Florence, Az in 2001.

He and Reanee moved to Tonto Basin, AZ in 2012 to be closer to daughter, Terri and her family.

Denny passed away on November 13, 2016 in Payson, Arizona.

Denny was preceded in death by his parents, Walter J. (Ted) and Jean Wall and Vera S. Freseman, brother, Denton, and son Lance. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, daughter of Tonto Basin, AZ, grandchildren, brothers, and sister of Billings, MT and many nieces and nephews.
