Mr. Franklin Louis Breveglieri, age 88, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at the North Ottawa Hospice Heartwood Lodge. He was born on June 8, 1928 in Springfield, MA to Louis and Mildred (Serra) Breveglieri.

He served three years in the United States Air Force. Frank married Patricia Walsh on April 24, 1954 and they relocated to Michigan in 1969. He was employed by Clarke Floor Machine, and Geerpres Wringer in Muskegon for many years in sales, marketing, and engineering and held many patents.

After retirement, Frank also worked for Pliant Plastics and Select Manufacturing Company. He was a wood worker and model ship builder. Frank also enjoyed computers, photography, fishing, helping neighbors, and socializing with friends. It was said he never met a stranger. Frank enjoyed spending many winters in Gulf Shores, AL, and volunteered at the Naval Air Museum in Pensacola, FL. Frank was a former member of the American Legion and Knights of Columbus.

SURVIVORS include his wife Pat; three children, Joan (Jake) VanDeHoef of Columbus, OH, Jean (John) Biros of Dallas, TX, Susan (Dr. Jeff) Smith of Sand Lake, MI; six grandchildren, Jennifer (Shawn) Brumley, Jeffrey (Amanda) Biros, Christopher (Maureen) VanDeHoef, Megan (Phillip) Bocook, Ryan Mammina, and Lauren Mammina; and six great grandchildren. Frank is also survived by a brother, Richard Breveglieri of MS; several nieces and special cousin, Tom Guerra.

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be 11AM 1PM Saturday, November 19 at the VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven (620 Washington Ave. Grand Haven, MI 49417), with some words of comfort being said at 12:45 by Rev. Fr. David Gross. Memorial Contributions in Frank's name to the AT Children's Project (www.atcp.org) will be appreciated.
