Services will Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Toby Henson officiating with burial to follow in the Clyde Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
Earl Dean was born August 5, 1929 in Potosi to Harry Gordon and Billie Inez (Fuqua) Franklin. He graduated from Wylie High School in 1947. He married Lucille Gilliam September 16, 1950 in Abilene. They moved to Clyde from Abilene in 1956. He was a retired truckdriver and a member of the First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife-Lucille of Clyde, 1 son-Ronnie Franklin of Clyde, 4 daughters-Iris Murphy of Euless, Celinda Antilley of Lewisville, Deborah Hill of Ocala, Florida, and Angela Scott of Hawley, 1 brother-Jerry Franklin of Houston, 1 sister-Nova Franklin of Abilene, 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
