Patricia was born on December 5, 1929 in Linton, ND. She moved to Fargo, ND at age 14. Pat graduated from Fargo Central High School with the class of 1947. Her first employer was Northwestern Bell, she was a telephone operator. On December 30, 1949 Pat was united in marriage to Richard "Dick" Freeman at the First Methodist Church in Fargo. They resided in Fargo, Jamestown, and Williston, returning to Fargo during Richard's NW Bell career. Pat was active in the First Congregational Church in Fargo, a leader for the Campfire Girls, and helped with 4-H. She worked part-time at the Fargo Clinic and the Fargo Country Club. In 1975 she started full-time with Cass County Social Services as a Homemaker. She retired in 1988. She enjoyed winter months in Yuma, AZ, Square Dancing, golf, water exercises, dominoes, cards, and cribbage. Pat enjoyed her volunteer activities. Pat was also active in the United Methodist Church of Perham after Dick and Pat moved to the Perham area.
