Frances Delora Allen returned to the Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 8,2016 after a lengthy illness. She was born Feb. 4,1925 to Gale and Nancy Eaton in Corbin, KY and resided most of her life in Richmond and Hagerstown, with her loving husband of 67 years, Virgil Allen. She was retired from Belden Corp.

They raised two sons, Carl of Hagerstown and Douglas of Chandler, AZ. She was a devout Christian, devoted wife and loving mother who took great pride in her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of Full Gospel Chapel. Toward the end of her life she enjoyed recalling their many trips and outings together.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons: Carl (Sandra) Allen, Douglas (Billi) Allen; grandchildren: Karen Soper, Susan Catania, Michael Allen, Robert Allen and Katey Henderson; great-grandchildren: Tasha Moore, Cory Soper, Mathew Catania, Nicholas Catania, Caitlyn Catania, Joshua Allen and Leslie Allen; great-great-grandchildren: Ethan Moore, Alex Moore, Anna Catania and Lucas Soper; sisters: Grace Leopold, Stella Martin; brother: Wesley Eaton; a special niece: Janet Cellender.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother: Jerry Eaton; and sisters: Sylvia Huff and Ruth Bradway.

Funeral: Friday Nov. 11,2016 from 10-11 a.m. at Culberson Funeral Home, Hagerstown. Burial will follow in West Lawn Cemetery.
