Cecil Dorothy Mangum Nelson Clegg â€" age 101 passed away Tuesday May 12, 2009 at Magnolia Nursing Home. She was born in Anahuac, Texas March 17, 1908 the daughter of the late George Washington Mangum and Eliza J. Fondron Mangum. She was preceded in death by her first husband, R.J. Nelson, and her second husband Virgil Clegg, her four sons J.E. Nelson, Eldridge Clegg, Billy Clegg, and Bobby Joe Clegg, her sisters Lula Mae Lynch, Gertrude Blumquist, Margie Scofelia, and Luzie Davis as well as a brother H.A. Mangum. She leaves behind her sons W.E. Nelson and his wife Margie and R.J. Nelson Jr. and his wife Marie, brothers James Earl Mangum and his wife Pauline, and Elvy L. Mangum and his wife Blanche. In addition she leaves thirteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren. Cecil also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1pm at the Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis, Liberty, Texas with visitation to be held two hours prior. Burial will be private. Online condolences may be made at www.allisonfuneralservices.com
