Norman Rush Agent, 74, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 12, 2016. Norman was born on October 26, 1942 in Mississippi to Roger and Marzine Agent. He graduated from Provine High School in Jackson in 1960 and from Mississippi State University.

Norman was a founding partner of Barksdale Bonding and Insurance Company in Jackson. He subsequently acquired Live Oaks Golf Club in 1986. His love for Golf and a good game served him well resulting in many wonderful friendships. He sold the club in 2013 but he continued to enjoy the game following his grandsons as their biggest fan. His favorite pastime was cheering on all of the grandchildren as they participated in sports and activities.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Kenneth Agent and stepson, Craig Ivy. He is survived by his wife, Jeri Agent; two sons, Rush Agent and his wife, Allison and Henry Agent and his wife, Lisa, all of Madison and their mother, Barbara Jones of Madison; stepdaughter, Nicki Willoughby and husband, Martin, of Memphis, TN; and sister, Marilyn Belding of Louisville. He is also survived by nine grandchildren: Griffin, Lucas, Taylor, Miles and Emma Agent; Brittany (Ivy) Sanders, Craig Ivy; and Ally and Trey Willoughby; and great grandchild Ivy Kathryn Sanders.

Visitation will be held at Broadmoor Baptist Church in Madison, MS on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 11 AM until 1 PM. A private family service will follow.
