Brother Melchion Lang's wife, of Gypsum, Kansas, died February 16 of appendicitis, after an illness of 5 days, at the age of 26 years, 9 months and 8 days. Leaving her bereaved husband and two children and her parents to mourn their loss. One child preceded her in death. The remains were laid at rest in our cemetery. The funeral sermon was preached by brothers Peter A. Unruh and H.A. Koehn, from Job 14, first part of the chapter.
The sister has been a faithful member for ten years and passed away having the hopes of obtaining eternal rest.
