Wrick Charles Essman, born May 25, 1951 to the late Charles and Betty (nee Mueller) Essman and stepson of Connie Essman. Asleep in Christ on Sunday, October 30, 2016. Loving father of Dawn Essman, Alice Essman Summers and Bret Essman; stepfather of Chris Riley and Rob Riley; beloved brother of Rhonda Essman, Karen (Nathan) Holloman, Debbie Essman Chappius, and the late Connie Essman Copeland; dear stepbrother of Bill (Sue) Turner, Russell (Kathy) Turner, Sandra (Gary) Pippins, Susie (Jim) Brown, and Beverly (Fred) Mathews; special friend of JoAnn Carrico; cherished grandfather, uncle, nephew, cousin, brother-in-law, and friend to many.

He proudly served in the US Army for 20 years and was also retired from the US Postal Service. He was dedicated to his country and an avid Cardinal baseball fan. Wrick was a very giving person and always loved being with his family.

Friends may visit from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, November 11, 2016. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 12 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with interment with military honors to follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Memorials are appreciated to the American Cancer Society . Expressions of condolence may be offered at www.alexanderstlouis.com.
