She was born April 13, 1922, in Lebanon, a daughter of the late Robert and Emma Brandt Bomberger. She was a member of St. Stephens United Church of Christ. She was a retired sewing machine operator for Herman Handkerchief Company. She was a member of the Retired Steelworkers. Surviving are children Robert J., spouse of Darlene J. Engle of Lebanon, and Linda L., spouse of Lloyd R. Gepfer of Manheim; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Harvey D. Engle on August 3, 1992, and sister Katherine Mayson. Service Tuesday, January 2, at Christman's Funeral Home, Lebanon. Burial at Kimmerlings Cemetery. [Lebanon Daily News]
