He was born June 21, 1943 to Ellis and Vernie Brown Walters in Tuscola, Texas. Mr. Walters was a construction foreman for several companies. He has lived in Henderson since 2005 and previously lived in Longview. Mr. Walters served his country for five years in the United States Army and was a proud veteran. He liked to read, at times reading three books a day, and he was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Vernie Walters; one brother and three sisters.
