John Walter Corbin, 55, of Owingsville Road, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on April 17, 1961 the son of the late John L. and Betty Kelley Corbin. He was a member of the Gateway Christian Church and his greatest love in life was his family.
He is survived by his wife Sandra Orme Corbin; one son, Sean Louis (Amanda) Corbin of Lexington, Kentucky; one daughter, April Nicole (Shane) Walters of Richmond, Kentucky; mother and father-in-law, Charles and Ruth Orme of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; two brother-in-laws, Mike (Pam) Orme of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky and Charlie (Dottie) Orme of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; sister-in-law, Debbie Doyle of Owingsville, Kentucky; Special friends Brent Taylor of Acworth, Georgia and Kim Swartz of Sarasota, Florida; four grand children, Jackson Walters, Brighton Corbin, Max Walters and Miles Corbin and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Ida "Pinky" Orme and sister-in-law, Janet Rae Back.
Funeral Services will be 1 PM Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Kilgore, Rev. Glenn Emery and Sean Louis Corbin officiating with burial following at Machpelah Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday evening from 5-9 PM at the Taul Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Brent Taylor, Shane Walters, Mike Orme, Charlie Orme, Charles Orme, Ian Corbin, Jimmy Walker and Sean White. Honorary Pallbearers will be Garry Jackson, Stacey Orme White, Alicia Manconi, Pam Orme, Dottie Orme, Tyler Gibbs, Kim Swartz, Bella Swartz and all nieces and nephews.
