Robert Andrew Allen was born November 25th, 1947, in Logan, Utah in the heart of Cache Valley. Bob was the only son of Milton J. Allen and Mary Elizabeth Hawkins(both deceased). Bob had an older sister Susan Lee Kimball(deceased) and three younger sisters, Elizabeth “Tish” Ann Allen (Deceased), Ellen “Ellie” Louise Allen, Logan Utah, Laurie Denise Watson(Gary), Burleson Texas.
Bob married Peggy Elwood on August 6th 1971 in Paris Idaho. Bob and Peggy had four children together, Susan Lorraine Winters(Todd), Hyrum Utah, Shauna Marie Espinoza(Alfredo), River Heights Utah, Robert Andrew Allen, Logan Utah, and Cody Lynn Allen(deceased).
Robert had three other children from a previous marriage, Troy Howard Allen(Karin), Smithfield Utah, Tony Andrew Allen(deceased), Shelaine Badoni(Vernon), Kirtland New Mexico.
Robert was blessed with 19 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and countless memories. Bob always treasured the memories he made with his many nieces and nephews. Any small child that talked to Bob became part of his heart forever.
On the evening of November 8th, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer, Bob succumbed to his illness. Bob left us in a hurry to have an ” international coffee moment” with his dear friends that passed on before him.
Bob will be honored with a viewing on Monday, November 14th from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at the Allen Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street, Logan, Utah. With graveside services following at Smithfield Cemetery at noon.
