OLIVER LEROY ELAM SR. 1938-2016 Died; Friday November 4, 2016, from inoperable cancer at age 78. Born; February 20, 1938 to William Robert and Iamma Francis Elam (Ank), in Feather Falls, Ca. Oliver was the third son of five boys, who were all born into the logging industry, establishing a lifelong logging legacy. He is predeceased by his parents, and brothers William R. Elam Jr. (Bill), and Russell Elam. Oliver is survived by his wife Carole Lee of 39 years; his brothers David Elam, and Dennis Elam. He is also survived by his children from his previous marriage: Sandy Elam, Cristi Burris, Oliver L. Elam Jr. (Rusty), and Becky Jones. He has five grandchildren. Oliver is also survived by three step children: Starr Schwerer, Carene Rupp, and Vito Lopez. There will be a viewing at Scheer Memorial Chapel, Sunday November 13, 2016 1-4 PM. Graveside service will be held Monday November 14, 2016, 2:00 PM at the Feather Falls Cemetery. Officiated by; Lee Fickes.
