Dorothy Fay Muller Arensdorf, age 89, died on November 10, 2016. She was born in Butler County, Nebraska to Rudolph and Minnie Muller. She attended Wayne State University and graduated with a degree in Home Economics and Business and became a county extension agent in North Platte, NE.

Dorothy married Francis “Fritz” Arensdorf in 1953 and is survived by her daughters, Debi MacDonald (Mark), Peggy Arensdorf, and Vikki Penrod (Scott); six grandchildren, Miranda MacDonald, Cynthia Bullmer (Greg), James MacDonald (Taylore), Breck Penrod (Jane), Whitney Dallas (Cory), and Kelci Penrod; two great-granddaughters, Berrett Penrod and Anna Claire Bullmer; her sister, Narosonia Spatz, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fritz; her parents, Rudy and Minnie Muller; and brother, Douglas Muller.

Dorothy and Fritz were from David City, NE and moved to Albuquerque in 1956. Dorothy spent her career working as a teacher at the Technical Vocational Institute (TVI) where she taught business classes. She and Fritz were involved with square dancing, camping, and traveling. Dorothy loved to read, walk, and play bingo.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH – University, officiated by Reverend Scott D. Penrod. In lieu of flowers please give a donation to your favorite charity.
