Born 9-10-1938 to the late Carl W. & Mattie Mae Bullock Herrington in Lawrenceville, GA he was a graduate of Lawrenceville High School and North Georgia College, served in the Air Force 1959-1967 as a Medical Service Specialist. was a member of Erastus Christian Church in Commerce and retired from GBM Building Maintenance. Survived by wife of 16 years, Fern Herrington; son, Egon (Tara) Herrington; step-daughter, Karla Sue Joyce of IN; grandchildren, Brandie (Eddie)Negron and Erik (Whitney) Herrington ; great-granddaughters, Aubrey Negron and McKinley Negron; brother, James Robert Herrington of SC. Predeceased by parents and brother, Morris Herrington. Funeral Friday at Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment at Memorial Park South Cemetery.
