George H. Ent was married to Adeline Nonich Ent. They lived on Broad Street in Stockton. He was a retired employee of the Universal Paper Mill in New Hope.

He died at his home at the age of 68 and was buried in Rosemont Cemetery.

He was survived by his wife, three sons, Everett of Mutuchen, Vincent of Stockton and Monroe of Lambertville; two brothers, Joseph of Cherryville and John of New Hope and five sisters, Mrs. Vinnie Carlen of Stockton, Mrs. Nellie Oliver of Bayonne, Mrs. Annie Good of Bound Brook, Mrs. Jennie Hinman of Long Island and Mrs. Elizabeth Kolosky of Barberton, Ohio.

His obituary was published in the Lambertville Beacon on February 5, 1953. His birth date is from his WWII draft registration card.
