She was born in North Paris on July 18, 1927, the daughter of Gladys Buck Bonney and Owen Bonney, Sr.
She married Maurice Knightly on July 3, 1948.
She is survived by a son, William O. Bonney and his wife, Norma Jean, of Brownsville, KY.; a daughter Brenda Heaward of Oxford; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Stevens of South Paris; a sister-in-law, Alliene Bonney of Bryant Pond; and a daughter-in-law Deborah Knightly of Upton.
