WILLIAM M ALLERTON
William M. Allerton, 54, of Shiocton, R. @, died unexpectedly at 11 p.m. Tuesday.
Born Aug. 10, 1910, in Antigo, he was married to Mary Jane Wallendal of Waupun. Living at his home in Shiocton for the last 10 years, Mr. Allerton was general manager of the Strange Carton Division of the Consolidated Packaging Corp. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Oneida Golf and Riding Club.
He is survived by his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Lance Devereaux of California; one son, Michael Leigh Allerton, at home; and one granddaughter. One brother preceded him in death.
Private funeral services will be held Friday. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Wichtman Funeral Home in Shiocton.
