Jerry C. Albers, 72, passed away peacefully at his home in Midlothian, Texas on Monday, November 7, 2016 after a very brief illness. Jerry, the 1st born son of Clarence and Ernestine Albers, was born in Muenster, Texas on January 14, 1944.

Jerry was always helping people whether they were relatives, friends or strangers. He was the “go-to guy” when you needed something painted, repaired, or just advice. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, cooking and watching NASCAR races. He was a good friend to everyone and will be missed. During his lifetime, he was a Journeyman Plumber, Plumbing Supply Specialist, and more recently, worked in Wholesale Plumbing Supply for Winston Water Cooler in Dallas. Jerry was a loving father, husband and friend.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; daughter, Denyce Albers; step-children, Rob, Nick and Natalie Gajdica, their spouses, 4 grandchildren and his brothers, Robert and Doyle Albers. Both his father and mother preceded him in going home to our Lord.

Jerry’s memorial service will take place at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Waxahachie, Texas on Saturday, November 12th at 2pm with Deacon Dennis Bryant officiating.
