Priest. Professor. Member of the White Sands Missile Range Hall of Fame. He grew up in Sayre, Pennsylvania, and Waverly, New York. He became a member of the Society of Jesus in 1937, one year after earning his Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown. He was ordained as a Catholic priest in 1949. He moved to White Sands, New Mexico, where he served as chaplain for the White Sands Missile Range. He was inducted into the White Sands Missle Hall of Fame for his 30 year ministry to the military community.
